Romantic Beach Engagement Session

Ally, Aaron, their engagement session... I just can't get enough. Imagine it's the first Saturday in November, in Ontario. A low pressure system has moved in, there's a wind warning, and it's 22°C, so you decide to go to Britannia Beach in Ottawa. What a session!

The crazy, beautiful weather isn't what made this session, though. It was these two kind souls, their love for one another, and the ease of our time together. When I work with couples I like to ask you both a few questions individually before your session, just to learn more about you and dig a little deeper into the reasons behind why THIS is your person. Ally + Aaron basically wrote the same thing, without knowing what the other person had written. Their love is gentle, joyful, sexy and compassionate. They are each other's home, and it is so apparent in the way they interact with one another.

This session was a clear reminder that those raw, unfiltered love kind of photos cannot be faked. And would you really want that anyways? These two just came to the session and enjoyed themselves. They weren't worried about the angles, the wind literally whipping them around, they just showed up as the most real versions of themselves. If you want authentic photos, then let this be your approach. Don't do a session just for the photo, do it for yourself and this chapter of your lives.
