WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? DO YOU DO OUT OF TOWN/PROVINCE WEDDINGS?
I currently live in the Kawarthas and service this area + the GTA. That doesn't mean I don't travel, though! I'm really directionally inclined and take pride in what a smooth traveller I am! If you're inquiring about a wedding that isn't in or near either of these two areas and you're wondering if I'm up for travelling, the answer is a resounding yes!
HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?
I require a 50% non-refundable retainer at the time of booking/contract signing. The remainder is due two weeks your wedding/elopement. Payments can be accepted via EMT, cash, or through Honeybook.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN YOUR WEDDING PACKAGES?
I offer a few different packages depending on your needs for your big day. Most all collections include planning, personal styling for engagement sessions, and an online gallery to share with family and friends. If you'd like more or less, there are options to customize your wedding day coverage as well.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CAN'T BE THERE ON OUR WEDDING DAY?
For this to be the case I'll either be in the hospital myself, or dealing with a serious family emergency. I truly value my clients the most. If for some reason I can't be there, I will personally secure you a wedding day photographer whom I absolutely trust and who's work you also love and appreciate.
WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
For all smaller sessions and engagement shoots, they will be in your inbox within 4-6 weeks! For your wedding day, your online gallery will be sent to you in 6-8 weeks.
WHAT DO WE WEAR FOR OUR ENGAGEMENT/COUPLES SESSION?
Fear not, lovely. After your booking is final, I send over a Pinterest page I’ve curated just for you filled with outfit inspo for our shoot together. On top of that, I've put together a style guide just for my clients. If you need any help beyond that, I'm happy to hop on a FaceTime call with you like you would a good friend so we can pick out an outfit - or two - that we're all obsessed with. Don't sweat this one!
WILL YOU PHOTOSHOP US?
No (#sorrynotsorry). My rule of thumb is if it's gone in two weeks then it will be gone in the picture! Other than that, I stay true to you.
WHAT IF WE CANCEL/RESCHEDULE OUR WEDDING/SESSION DATE?
If the booking is already complete with me, and for some reason you have to cancel or reschedule, the retainer fee is non-refundable. In order to lock in your new date, a new retainer will need to be paid. I know this seems harsh, but please know I'm not trying to take your money and run with it. I do this because once your wedding is booked, I count on that money to pay my bills and feed my family. There's also a chance that I've rejected other couples for the same date.
DO YOU HELP WITH THE PLANNING PROCESS?
Absolutely. I never knew I loved doing this until I started shooting weddings! I'll help guide you through planning with all of the resources you'll need. I can send you other vendors who I love working with. I'm great at creating custom timelines too, so we can ensure we have enough time for those golden hour sunset photos and your first look.
HOW DO TRAVEL EXPENSES WORK?
Beyond the areas I typically service, there will be a flat fee of $350 for travel. Typically this covers my mileage and a hotel if need be. If flights are required, that looks a little different. I offer discounts on international weddings and would love to chat!
HOW MANY IMAGES DO I GET?
It ranges from each collection that I offer and how the day goes. For small shoots and engagements sessions it will be around 80, and for weddings it’s between 400-600. I typically tell my clients their gallery will have 60-80 images per hour.
CAN OTHER PEOPLE TAKE PHOTOS WHILE YOU ARE?
I’d love if you'd consider having an “unplugged” ceremony. If I am worrying about someone shooting behind me or over my shoulder, I won’t be giving you my full attention.
